At The Outsider, it’s all about stepping outside your comfort zone together and experiencing something special. In April 2026, we’ll be expanding our family with Chaudfontaine, our sixth location that makes exactly that possible.
In the iconic Fort of Chaudfontaine—a massive military structure from 1888 where you can still feel its history in every hallway—we’re bringing adventure with a historical twist. What once served as a defensive fort will soon become the setting for an adventurous experience.
This fort captures the imagination. And we’re now fully harnessing the potential we see here to create brand-new Outsider experiences.
A fort with character…
At Fort de Chaudfontaine, you don’t play in a fenced-off park, but in an Ardennes fort dating from 1888 – and that’s exactly what appeals to us so much. Here, you put on your helmet, switch on your headlamp and step into a world where every corridor can take your mission in an unexpected direction.
You make your way through narrow secret passages to connecting corridors, and climb stairs to go higher or descend deeper. Everywhere there are hidden spaces just waiting to be discovered.

Adventure takes on a whole new dimension here
What makes this venue unique? Whilst our other venues are mainly focused on outdoor activities, Chaudfontaine offers a unique blend of underground thrills and above-ground action. The fort itself provides the backdrop for the activities.
It invites you to explore it. And it offers a playing field that is unique in Belgium: dark corridors, hidden rooms and a panoramic tower overlooking the Chaudfontaine valley.
The activities are still very much in development, but here’s a little taster of what’s in store for you soon.
What can you expect to see at the Fort?
Laser battle around the fort
An Outsider classic! An exciting laser battle arena awaits in the surrounding woods. Strategy is key here; you’ll need to think on your feet and outsmart the enemy during this thrilling battle.
Off-road scooter tours
The hilly countryside around Chaudfontaine, set amidst lush greenery, naturally offers some challenging routes. Forest tracks, slopes and natural obstacles make this an active and fun challenge. And without too much physical effort, as the electric scooters do the hard work for you.
Strategic fortress games
Team building takes on a whole new dimension inside the fort. Orientation, teamwork, and communication are put to the test in an environment where you can’t rely solely on your sense of sight.
Challenges at altitudes
Do you dare to go higher and push your limits? Around the fort, we offer various height and climbing challenges that push your limits — both individually and in groups.
