Raft building

Teams of 4 to 6 people get to work building a raft. One of our monitors gives a crash course in lashing to make a perfectly sturdy raft. After building, they take to the water with a paddle and life jacket to test the stability of the raft.The monitor challenges the teams with different tasks, such as changing places on the raft without getting wet. Depending on the sportsmanship of the group, the tasks are adapted to make it a fun and challenging experience for everyone.
